One of the most popular menji era, samurai anime in Japan, Rurouni Kenshin(Samurai X in the USA) is's based on a wandering swordsman named Kenshin, a young, long red head man with a deep x scar on his cheek. Kenshin is a wandering swordsman who led the bloody path for the menji era to be acheive buy the name Hitokiri Battousai, A deadly assasin. After his goal was acheived I disappeared. Wanting to repent from all his killing, Kenshin vowed not to kill again and not to reclaim the name Battousai as well as keeping others from claiming the name too. During his wandering, he meets Kaoru Kamiya, a girl who runs her late fathers dojo. She offers Kenshin to stay with here. Along the way, A young boy fueled with the blood of a samurai, Yahiko Miyojin and the fighter with the evil character on his back Sagara Sanosuke apprear. There are other charaters too that show up from Kenshin past to haunt him.
